- Fine Arts
Specially into modern movements, I simply love
the way Art progressed from a simple figurative expression
to abstract and other conceptual modes.
- Altered Arts
Lately I have been producing paper arts at home, using all the fine arts techinques I learnt in Art school, plus simple scrapbooking techniques. I will soon post some pictures.
- Photography
- Graphic Novels
I am into the fantasy, mature reader graphic novels. Neil Gaiman is my favorite author and Dave McKean my favorite graphic artist! I am also into Calvin & Hobbes
fan! I also read HellBlazer and other DC/Vertigo Publications.
- Music
Very eclectic taste. I am into classical,
blues, jazz, opera, bossa nova and MPB (Brazilian Pop Music),
Dead Can Dance, folklore music from different counties, Metallica,
Beck, Tori Amos, Nine Inch Nails, and I could
go on forever. I guess you get the picture!
- Movies
I am not the type who collects movies or watch them over and over again. But I do enjoy watching movies and the ones in "all-time-best" are: V for Vendetta, Bergman's The Seventh Seal and Casa de Areia (House of Sand)
- Cooking
I love cooking and eating... sometimes I wish we had those replicators
from Star Trek so I could have anything I like with real taste
and no calories!
- Mythology
Dragons are my favorite mythological creatures, along with
witches. The Azorians who colonized my hometown brought with them a rich folklore of witches and mythical creatures. Nowadays local artists create the most beautiful witches and I collect them.
